The key members of the Play Industries team are Ben Edwards, Mike Lindsay and Paul Merritt.

Ben Edwards is an electronic music veteran, renowned boffin and owner of one of the largest collections of vintage synthesizers this side of the Euro tunnel. Ben has been making electronic music since 1995 when he turned down the job of drummer in pop band Blur weeks before they were signed and began to enjoy fame, adulation and untold riches. Ben burned his drum kit and turned his back on the fickle world of rock and pop to become a 'serious' musician. Ben is the founder of Play Industries and Expanding Records.

Mike Lindsay is a multi instrumentalist and composer. He has been involved in music all his life and taught guitar at the tender age of fourteen. He has been in many bands but his current band Tunng are quickly gaining a worldwide following and have just completed their second album and session for Radio One.

Paul Merritt has been involved in the electronic music scene since the mid-nineties dj'ing and organising parties. He has played all over the world and his show t:com on the internet radio station gaialive, which began broadcasting in 1995, is now officially the longest running radio show of any kind on the net. He runs the much respected Expanding Records label with Ben Edwards. Over the last 5 years they have released music by new electronica artists from all over the world. He also records and performs live with Ben as Stendec.
